Hi guys,

I recently lost (then found my) #1 remote. I had previously misplaced my #2 remote so I was left with just the valet key.

I purchased 2 new remotes from eBay, a #1 & #2.

I programmed both.
#1 works fine with all locks/trunk.seat memory #1
#2 works fine with all lock/trunk, but will not control seat memory #2.

Has anyone seen this behavior?

2nd question: I have since located my original remotes. Is is possible to have 4 remotes programmed with the car. Is there a max#?

Interested in the answer - I'd like to have 3 remotes for 3 drivers, plus an active spare for my 2002 TL-S.

 

I was at the dealer today...he looked it up...3 remotes is the max. But remember, when you program, you need to program all 3 at one time. When you run programming mode, it wipes all remotes.
