Question Key Fob help!

I searched but could not find much information on this.

My key fob got washed, and now the alarm on the car goes off when I approach the car. Annoying, I know. I was wondering if I could have a newer key fob programmed for my 2001 TL.

They have some great deals for the newer TL/CL key fobs online. So will an 02-03 TL/CL key fob work?

Please help

Here is the FCC ID from my '03 CL fob: E4G8D-44H-A If that matches the number on your old key fob then it will work, if it doesn't it won't. Hope this helps.

Different remotes have different FCC ID numbers. The '02-'03 is different from the '99-'01's. I looked a 1999-2001 TL key fob up on Ebay and the FCC ID is the same as yours, so I'm guessing an '02-'03 key fob won't work for your car. I'm not 100% sure though and don't want to tell you wrong.
