Keeping the Stock Base on Aftermarket HU

Im getting a new HU from Crutchfield.com on monday. Being that im going to install it myself I wanted to know if I was able to use the stock base with the new HU. Thanks to Streeteffectz DIY I figured how to do it. However his write up required the removal of the rear seat, which i didnt want to do. Therefore i looked at the schematics and figured which lines you need. Basically just follow Streeteffectz write up and use these two lines to connect to the sub:

Thanks for your help Streeteffectz.

I'm in exactly the same place you were; new HU that I want to use with the stock sub. Can you tell me where you were able to patch into the BLU/GRN and ORN/BLU wires in the front part of the cabin?

Thanks,

cje
