Shyne,
You don't necessarily need the clay bar. And the Dawn is just for the initial wash to remove old wax, ya gotta wash it anyway right?
I pissed away several weekends preparing the surface and waxing with the old standards before breaking down and trying the Zaino. Believe me, I wish I would have started with Zaino right from the start! Its easier and less time consuming to apply/remove than standard wax... and most importantly it LASTS.
Any product you buy and apply correctly will look beautiful for a week or two, the nice thing about Zaino is it maintains its beauty. It is a different look, and some prefer the deeper color that a quality wax will acheive. If you want that look another good product is Klasse, also a polymer coating but it accepts a wax topper.

so if you have never used wax or have never waxed your car would you still have to use the dawn??? btw, the car wash formula i use is a wash/wax concentrate, does that count??? thanx in advance...Shyne

Yes, I think the wax in the car wash should be removed with Dawn before Zaino.
