Just got my 02 TL Type-S!!
Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself.
I just bought an '02 TL Type-S w/ 48,xxx miles. I'm very impressed with the car so far, the tranny has been replaced which seems to be par for the course on these, so that's all taken care of. I also managed to haggle in a 7 yr / 100,000 mi Acura extended bumper-bumper warranty, so I feel safe.
This thing flies!! I had no idea this car would be this fast. I had a brand new Mazda 3 before this (totalled ) and I thought it was reasonably quick (2.3L, 5spd, CAI), but this V6 is really rockin.
Anyways, i'm here now. Good to meet ya.

I have a Mazda 3 right now as a rental car and I could totally understand why you'd think the TL-S is a lot faster. Good luck with the new car, start modding! Once you get started with viewing this site regularly, the whole modding disease is going to suck you in like a vacuum! Enjoy!
