Just an FYI on tranny's
Just to let you know, i was cruising ebay the other day and a company sells our tranny for $549 plus s/h. something to chew on if in need to do this on your own dime. search ebay and you'll see it.

Ummmmmm not sure id trust something that cheap?
Oh and shipping on that thing would have to be Hella$$$$$ that is the single heaviest tranny ive lifted next to a HD allison tranny. i just put in a 350 tranny in a TA and it weighed halv of what ours does

just throwing it out there, some balk at the $3k new tranny price, from the site:
"All Transmissions are covered under our 99 day money back warranty on parts only. Most automatic transmissions include the torque converter. 4x4 Transmissions will not include the transfer case. Audi and Subaru transmissions or any other AWD vehicles that have internal transfer cases or differentials are an exclusion, We do not open them or remove those parts from the transmissions. Manual transmissions will not include any part of the clutch assembly. Contact us for more details."
