Just a Friendly reminder; check your tire pressure with this cold weather
The cold weather can really cause your tire pressures to drop several pounds, so this is just a friendly reminder to check em because underinflated tires SUCK in the snow, and with our crappy OEM tires (back to stock for the winter ) we need all the help/traction we can get. If you were already a few pounds low before the cold weather, you could be dangerously low now, so make sure to check em the next chance you get.

Funny, I was just going to post this same reminder tonight myself. Went out in my Maxima today and noticed the front tires looked a little low. Turns out all tires were down by about 8 psi. Checked the Acura and the same was true.
The rule of thumb is for every 10 degrees (F) drop in air temperature, you lose 1 psi of pressure. So if you last checked them this summer or fall when it was 70 and it's now in the single digits, that's a significant drop.
Also remember to check the pressure when the tires are cold in the morning or after the car has sat for at least 20 minutes so you get an accurate cold-pressure reading.

The door jamb sticker shows 32 front and 32 rear. I've played with the pressure on the fronts from 32 to 40 and get generally better overall results (handling, mileage, etc) in the high end of that range, though the ride is a bit harsh. I've kept the rears @ 32.
I just got back from a 500 mile road trip with the fronts @ 40, and am happy to report no blowouts. Yet...

The 40 PSI is a bit to high remeber that the tire will heat up & the air pressure will rise as you drive. This is why they say check tire pressure when cold. The MAX inflation for our tire is 44 PSI.
The placard inside the door is what you go by & it says 32 PSI but you can go 33-35 cold.
