Once again, Acura.TL.com comes through. I did the stupid easy mod to allow me to use my fogs with just my parking lights utilizing the DIY info on this site. The mod was really easy. The hardest part for me was pushing the switch out to access the wires. I got big hands, so getting to the switch was an issue. Once I got it out, took me all of 5 min to hook up the inline quick tap on wire 3 and 4 and now I can use my fogs for daytime lights and valet lights when using the auto off headlight feature instead of my headlights coming on all the time.

In case those of you who haven't done this and you are wondering, the fogs shut off when the headlight switch is off and they still shut off when I activate the high beams. Only difference is my headlights don't have to be on for me to use the fogs, just park lights is all I need to have on now. SWEEEET!

Yep. Very easy mod and a lot of people have done it. Heck, at our previous MA meets I was doing it right there in the parking lot for anyone who wanted it done.

10 min and a quick splice from Wal-Mart. Shoot, this mod is cheaper than buying chrome valve stem caps!

Is this mod reversible ? I am thinking of doing it but am afraid I cannot bring it back to stock again.

You're welcome! Now I'm working on doing it for the 3rd gens. A little more tricky because the foglight switch is a ring integrated in the light stalk on the steering column.
