NBP TL

I happen to like the car. I test drove one before i got the TL and i found the inside to be a little on the small side.

To me the IS is overated. Naturally anything thats overated gets sweated by people that well...you know the type...those who are on the LExus is300 forums! Needless to say, I would take a 1991 Infiniti Q45 over an Is300 anyday! (As a matter of fact I Own one of those too)

The IS ain't nothing but a Corrolla w/ a Great V-6 and Variable Valve timing! For the money, a GS300 is the clear alternative because you can get one w/ navigation for a few more. But still....that's why we love Acura TL's cause you get all that for a hella lot less...and can spen the left-overs on what matters most: MODS MODS MODS!!!!!!!

I personally LOVE the IS300 and would have gotten it if it were available the time I bought my TL. But then again if the TL-S was available then, that's a whole different story. But anywayz i've whipped the car around a couple times and the IS300 moves and handles like a REAL sports sedan. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MY CAR. BTW......the IS300 has an Inline 6 not V6. Peas.

Ok it may have the in-line 6 but still...to me the Ac-TL/and TLS still looks better and costs less. Plus its got more room, and the best navi from the factory! You can't get that in the is. Plus the "is small." (maybe that's what IS stands for.) If you want performance in a smaller car, the S-2000 is for you! Plus it looks better!

It doesn't bother me, but it also doesn't really do anything for me either. I guess I just like the classy, "so fresh and so clean" look that the TL has to offer (plus the size -- I need room dammit!). I think the commercials for those cars are ridiculous at best, but that's marketing for you. I wouldn't say that I "hate" the IS300 though.

You bought your car cuz you liked it. The IS300 owners bought it cuz they liked it. My point is that you don't gotta go hatin owners of cars you don't like. Everyone has their own preferences and you should respect that.

I like the IS300, but it was too small for me and the tails are butt-ugly.

I don't hate the owners...I just dislike the car! I also dislike the people coming over and hating on Tl lovers. They should stay over there and conduct their Lexus IS("IS SMALL")300 politics.

I understand what you were trying to say tiguy99, I don't like when people diss the TL and TL owners as well.

I am very much in to my car but I just believe that people should not take it too personally about a material possesion like a car.

If someone disses a car, I don't like it but I can handle it cuz I know better.
If they are dissin you as an owner, that is a whole different thing...

I personally have love for the wannabe corrolla !!! It's a stylish car!!! Hey Ill tell you what though, Im sick and tired of their owners coming on this site and talkin mad $hit !!! They have their own site (which really sux), so they need to go jerk off there !!! I would have liked the IS300, IF:

a)It took away those nasty taillights.
b)Brought in much needed improvements in the interior like auto-dimming mirrors, center armrest etc.
c)Put in full leather as opposed to the "thing" categorised as leather.
d)Improved the mileage...for a sub-compact with a V6 engine, the mileage is miserable. Incidentally, the mileage is worse than the large Lexus LS430 which weighs a lot more and is also sporting a 4.3L V8.
e) Bought in a Navigation system - which I believe they are addressing in the new model.
