just bought a 99 TL...HELP!!

What up errybody...i been lookin aroud here for almost a month now, i have gotten some good info so far. as i have already fixed the doors on my cup holder cause of this board. i love it, has so much info

i just bought a 99 tl (dont kno the difference between TL-S & TL-P), i kno im a noob!!

dont kno what seafoam is or how 2 use it(i searched, but its confusing, if u dont kno what it is or does)

what are the basics i can do to keep my car up and running great...
it has 103,000 miles,
needs new tires, reccomendations??(the owner had pirelli p6's but the front 2 are worn down, pretty bad),
i can hear a squeaking noise from the drivers side front wheel(took off the tire, and theres grease all over the inside of the rim)
mirror looks like it exploded in the inside
needs brakes & rotors(which ones are the best, 4 a reasonable price)
good oil & filters recommendations?? length between changes??
should i b using premium gas??...guy who i bought it from says he's been using regular
interior is perfect!
i want to get cai, and headers(any recomendations)
want to clean engine bay(how do i do it w/o messing anything up??)

i am a complete noob, when it comes to cars, but i have a very strong interset in keeping this car in top shape, interior is immaculate, and exterior paint is great 2, as the owner didnt smoke and kept the car garaged...hope u guys can help! any comments or suggestions would be greatly appriciated! THANKS in advance.

Seafoam is really easy just find the "Seafoamed the ol TL" thread for info on how to do it.
Look for the "Rearview Mirror Exploded" thread for info on how to get a new one from Magna Donnelly, the company that makes them. Try and take the damaged one out as soon as possible b/c the fluid can leak and ruin your perfect interior.
DON'T get OEM rotors. Most people are getting Rotora slotted, Brembo blanks, or RacingBrake slotted.
Yes, use premium gas. What you save at the pump, you will lose in power and gas mileage.
Injen or AEM CAI.
There are a few headers out there, it depends on how much money you are willing to spend. Most people here are going with the XS headers but you can get Comptech or OBX too. They are more expensive. XS headers get the job done for cheap but have some problems with resonance.
Search for "Doing my own oil changes" for recommendations on oil and filter. Most people are doing 3K intervals but the manual says 7500 and some people are even going as far as 12-15K between with synthetic.

Umm...wow...

OK, TL-P's are TL-Premiums, and they were made as 1999-2003 models. They are the "base" level TL. TL-S's are the TL Type-S's which were only made as a 2002 and 2003 model. They have a more powerful engine amongst other differences.

You have a TL-P.
