just bought a 2000 3.2TL

just bought a 2000 3.2TL, whats the best way to go about hooking up my ipod to it?

just buy an aftermarket head unit.

more work involved with running an ipod to the factory radio.

well i have an after market head unit but im afraid it'll mess with the factory amp... cause the head unit has an amp built in, and also will it cut off the sub?

I bought one of the USA Spec iPod adapters for my 2001 factory radio and haven't had any problems

The amp is built into the stock hu and is nothing special (dont be fooled by the "Bloz" name and every one saying you need all sorts of custom wiring to get the speakers to work). A good aftermarket HU will make the speakers sound better. You will have to do a little custom wiring to get it to work but its not hard.

That said you can get a Blitzsafe adapter which will allow you to plug it into the HU and control it.
