Jumps Forward...
Hey Guyz, I own a 2000 Acura TL, which sometimes slightly jumps forward when i start the car. I noticed this when Remote Starting it as well. Not a big deal I think, but any idea why it does it that?

have you checked your motor mounts lately? my ride was doing the same thing last month. looked at the mounts and saw that they were done for. got new mounts installed and voilla! problem solved.

thats the first thing I would check
the front and passener side mounts being well known failures
Pull the car on ramps and look up at the front motor mount, see any oily residue with a strange feel? thats the special fluid that used to be inside the $120 front mount!
May be drips on the ground too
You can DIY - ratcheting wrench is helpful- need floor jack to support engine
Side mount: look for obvious tearing of rubber block, then for movement of engine-
With trusted friend holding foot on brake- in drive-(put blocks on both sides of a wheel) and slightly rev throttle- 1500-2000 rpm~ you will see the engine move when placed into the gear at idle- and when its trying to hold tight as its revved-
oh- THATS broken!!!
Caution: the front mount is normally found at `warranty` trans replacement time- how is your trans?????

Thanx for the info, guyz. Ill take a look, & get it check out 2 by my mechanic. Although i feel no vibration in the pedalz, steering or in the seat, i believe u guyz could be right, since TL does have a motor mount goin out too soon issue. I know my tranny is good {Don't wanna Jinx dat now}.

you wont notice the broken front mount but it will have leaked its special fluid out
These are not normal motor mounts!!

Acura TL...
I took a look at the front mount, there's no fluid leaked out which would have indicated that it was goin' out. Any idea, where the rest of them are located as ill check them out too. Thanx.
