awesome, but good luck getting them if they are indeed in japan (new parts with regular customers, are having trouble getting parts from japan)


btw i am not seeing if they are also heated, if not, might be real easy to get working (using the heater circuit)

POWER folding mirror, as in you push a button, and the mirror power fold inwards,; you push it again, and the go out (more important in japan with their tiny parking spots, and being able to fit in them)



btw i know the escalade here has them, but that is more due to the fact of them being a larger truck then anything

Was looking at the same ones a few days ago. I think they aren't heated since the button to fold them is where the heated mirrors switch would go. I think I read on a different thread that the tilt function is not there as well.

While they are nice, getting out and folding them in myself seems to be a better choice, since i prefer to have the auto tilt function. I could care less about heated mirrors where I live. Wonder if you got find a way to get the tilt function to work with the power folding mirrors.

They are not heated, but its still a very rare part to have, if I was keeping my silver bullet I would get them.

And yeah I heard from Japan, things are taking a lot longer to get back to the States.

depends on what part of japan its coming from

i still get my parts on time.

Japan Post announced that they are now stopping service from/to Hokkaido, Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi,
Yamagata, Fukushima and Ibaraki. (March 12th, 2011)

so if its coming from that area.. good luck.

They are not heated you lose that. Also u have to gut them and replace the mirror itself with the mirror from your US Spec one, since they are curved differently for a RHD car in japan.

If u get the right year for your car they will plug right up and work all you will have to do is run 2 wires for the folding action from the power fold relay to the mirrors and 1 wire from the switch to the relay
