Wassup guys (and girls),
I'm looking to start a full JDM mod but need some suggestions, I'm working with Byron from AJ racing for the parts but I need some pics. I'm not 100% sure i want to do this, it's a lot of money and a long wait but from what I've seen the look is much cleaner.
I don't want to place multiple orders so if you guys can help with a sort of part list and pics i would greatly appreciate it.

there is no diff besides badges....and its rhd...and what a sun screen?

oh and btw its not jdm...its usdm.

 

i believe u have the H front grille, rear I N S P I R E badging, 32V badging and rear H emblem. Door sills are something else too.

I don't understand what exactly you're correcting. I'm looking for Japanese parts to put on my American car. I found the folding mirrors, emblems, and visors. I would love a Mugen spoiler, Blaze rear lip and skirts but I need better pics. So instead of posting for the point of posting you might try answering the question instead.

shouldn't he already have a usdm? thusfore a jdm conversion?

 

You'll need...badging, window visors, sidemarkers, spoiler w/camera, camera for the front bumper (1 for each corner), folding mirrors, rear sun shade and footwell lighting. If you want to do a FULL JDM conversion, then of course you'll need to do RHD conversion and change all the stickers to Japanese (door jam, engine bay, etc).

 

there are lots of parts for the inspire to convert if you want to do even the accessory side, there are about 40 additonal accessory you can add, such as the floormats, car cover, licence plate frame, etc. i got the inspire accessory catalog is about 12 pages

i only did front grille, rear emblem, door sills, air bag, value cover plate, car cover, and rear sunshade.

oh and most of the jdm parts is actually made in usa

If it's 99-01 you will also need the Inspire front bumper and fog lights!

 

Isn't the blaze and mugen aftermarket.....not jdm. Do a search for sabers and inspires they've been shown before see what parts are different. Or are you looking for japanese aftermarket parts???

 

it's jdm aftermarket, it's from japan, like my value sport kit is JDM...rev is prolly the best to ask bout jdm parts, like the coin tray from the jdm inspire, i didn't even know that it was different til i bought it off of him...and there's too much to list, the sidemarkers also, and i juss got the power folding mirrors, if u wanna go full jdm, if u want jdm factory parts, aj is the best in my thought, as for jdm aftermarket try kiyoshis, or vip tuning which will be open soon...the owner john can get me any jdm aftermarket parts...and he's coo as hell, u can find him on vipstylecars.com

 

Sorry if you misunderstood what i said..i'll make it simpler.

1- the TL is usdm not JDM....yes there are some options that are only available in japan but the car is made here not there.

2- the majority of the parts you want are aftermarket and were not sold on the "jdm" version.

I was simply stating if you are looking for jdm original parts there is not much you have to buy. I need not list it because it was already stated in previous posts for you.

i was gonna do folding mirrors too but it cost about 1000 for parts only

JDM is NOT Japanese OEM
JDM is something that is produced and sold purely for the Japanese market, whether or not it is aftermarket or OEM.

J - Japanese - From the country of Japan
D - Domestic - Within
M - Market - A place where money is exchanged for goods

question about the "A" vs. the "H" on the trunk.

Are the holes in the trunk going to line up or is there any modification involved(ie drilling new holes)

 

songoku, your car is real nice. and its rare i take time to post and say that... but you should clear or buy clear headlights. its not jdm. amber is very popular as far as jdm is concerned. but i think it would make your car look great. its hard to imagine how much difference such a small mod makes. but it was like night and day when i did mine. if you decide to do this, let me know, cause i my headlights are for sale

it's coo cuz it just is, u put a body kit on ur car to go faster? no...but my value kit gets me attention at shows...

as for the power folding mirrors, u guys are gonna hate me lol...i found em on ebay used for 100 and i paid 60 dollar shippin lol...i still need the relay but i have the mirrors and the switch at my house rite now, prolly not gonna put em on for awhile tho...thinkin bout puttin lcd screens in it first for ice =)....

as for the H emblem, yes it does fit, but since i have a 01 so i got a smaller H emblem den the 02, so i juss used 3M and put the bigger H on cuz it looks better...

The guys at AJR should have the parts list and photos kicking around for this conversion as they've done 2 TL's, a black and a white one.

 

Songoku, very nice job on your Honda Inspire conversion. Hope you don't mind me nitpicking but I think you need an emblem on the C-pillars to complete the authenticity of your exterior.

 

the picz that Songoku posted were Fredrorn's right? Songoku's is slick too, he's got the Inspire Spoiler. Hey jspecinspire, what spoiler u got or gettin?

If I remember correctly, those pics are of sssick's car. He posts mainly over at A-W these days ... nice car. He's selling his (engine) mods 'cause of insurance reasons but I think he's keeping the JDM look.

i am waiting a chance to order the inspire spoiler wit the camera..the latest i'll place the order in sept. and carbon fiber roof spoiler by ugo katayama, it's gonnab e custom fitted...and it's no longer available...
