AWD systems seems to be the wave of the future. Probably before too long most new cars in the market will be AWD. Personally, I think it is a great safety and traction feature, especially in places where snow and ice are the norm for the winter months.

Indeed it is...... I think the TL and the Accord should have a 4WD opion. Volvo just came out with the 4WD S60 ( i think )
So I think Honda/Acura, could compete with some really good competion

AWD is good and when you compare it to the FWD. I would much rather have the AWD.

However, I still believe that RWD will live on for a long long time...

Well, maybe in the future RWD and manual tranny will be something that's rare to find...

Mmm, AWD plus the longer wheelbase of the CL/TL will create a killer combination! An intelligent torque distribution system will do wonders for tire grip during acceleration and cornering.

indeed that would be great. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. They should make the new 6 speed CL AWD if it came out tomorrow i would get it tomorrow. I don't like Front drive for performance. but in bad weather it's great.

I say ALL US TLers write to ACURA/HONDA to request for AWD...in the future models... then maybe they'll add an AWD option
