Sorry, just need to vent a bit...

This morning I'm driving to work, and this a**hole in a big ass and beat up Caprice SS is driving 35mph in a 45mph zone with cars piling up behind him. I'm about four cars back in my TLS.

We get into a passing zone, so I pull out and floor it, easily passing everyone - as soon as I get ready to pull in front of the Caprice, he guns it so I can't pass him and have my ass hanging out in the oncoming traffic lane.

F' that!

I gun it and he keeps trying to block me, we get to 80mph before he finally backs down and let's me in - by now we're well into a no-passing zone.

WHAT AN A**HOLE!

I mean I'm more than happy to play, but when you do something dumb ass stupid like this and risk another driver's life, you should be locked up or shot.

If a BMW was trying to pass me, be my guest, I'll give you the thumbs up as you pass.

I was thinking about following this moron and clocking him in the head when he got out of his car, but cooler heads prevailed.

Even worse, I look in my rearview, and there he is, half a mile back driving 35mph again with people piling up behind him!!

The lesson is the there is a difference between driving fast and driving stupid. Drive fast, not stupid!

 

Droped into 2nd and floor it and you have no problem what so ever passing his pos.... what a stupid *******....

 

You can't get into 2nd at 80 MPH, and you can't get into 3rd above 85... That's one of the things that really pisses me off about my TLS ... I know the engine can handle it, but the car wont downshift sometimes...

 

WTF?!?! I hate stupid F**ks like that! New Mexico drivers are like that too........

 

You should have clocked him in the head. A-holes like that person don't realize the number of lives (you, on coming traffic, their own, pedestrians, etc) they are putting in danges when they pull crap like that.

People that play like that......*grrr* I see alot of 'ricer' kids doing similar things here in southern cal Hah...got the 'bird' from one bc he passed and thought i was going too slow....and he got the 'badge'......slowed him down real quick....and his finger 'miraculously' turned into a peace sign when i caught up to him.....going 'speed limit.'

I remember driving on a Florida highway with my girlfriend....two 'rigs' were blocking both lanes for 30 mins....staying up with each other at 55 mph. Girlfriend finally called highway patrol and reported the trailer and tractor plates. Right when she did that though......the left-most truck finally pulled over. Didn't check up on it....but hope the highway patrol tagged those two.

 

I think you can downshift into 3rd at 85 mph.

 

I found that sometimes if I go WOT and tried to downshift , it flashes the lower gear number and refuses to downshift.

On the other hand, before I floor it, downshifting at crusing speed (70-85 @ 2000-2400 rpm) is not problem, ease on the right foot and you can downshift no problem.

 

I hate freaking pricks like that.

 

Yeah, a$$holes are everywhere endangering people's lives. It is so tempting to get out of the car and confront them. A couple of weeks ago, at a shopping mall lot, i was pulling out and a fella was already signalling and waiting to take my spot. I pull out, as soon as i do so, an a$$hole shoots right in, despite the first guy waiting already for my spot. Well, the guy waiting gets out of the car swinging his fists shouting at the idiot. Guess what...the a$$hole gets out with a baseball bat...

Man, it's just not worth it these days.....be careful out there folks.

 

Thats a nice word he uses for that person. This B cut me off just the other day I wanted her Butt Bad & thats not to say I wanted to sleep with her. Here in D.C. we have them traffic circles that you can go around & off onto many streets. The B pulled around me & cut me off that I had to brake to let her in. She was going off on the same street as I was but exited the circle from the left lane. I don't go in for road rage but this time I did. I stayed on her tail as she had this POS Ford Probe. I pulled up beside her when it was two lanes open on the street. She was in the left turn lane & I was going straight I gave her a look. I think she thought I was going to turn left in front of her from the right lane I just floored it & shock my head at her.

 

I had some girl get upset at me even though I did let her change lanes to get in front of me--I was in the RH lane, rush hour traffic, with an exit coming up which apparently the girl--who was in the lane to the left of mine and a bit behind me--hadn't prepared for in advance, given the surroundings. So, she decides that she needs to make that exit--never mind that she has to cut across my lane with the exit rapidly approaching (no more than 1/8 mile away). Of course I couldn't immediately tell that she needed to move over so I just kept my normal trailing cushion. She starts nosing into the space in front of me like I'm supposed to all of a sudden slow down immediately while there's another car right behind me. I eventually let her in but apparently she thought I was trying to keep her from making her exit so she gave me the "you're number one" sign.

WTF? If I really wanted to keep her from making her exit I could have easily done so--heck, I slowed down as safely as I could given the circumstances so that she could squeeze in. If anyone should have gotten the finger it should have been her--I can't understand why people wait until the last moment to move over, then try to move into a space barely larger than the car itself, then get ticked off at you because they think you were blocking their way in.
