Jack Points are shown in the Owners Manual.

https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp

In the Rear, jack at the Tow Hook.

In the Front there is a plate in the subframe. Get up under there and have a look. Dead center, 18" - 24" back. Can't miss it.

Stands can go under the reinforced flanges on the sides. There are 4 of them, 2 just behind the front tires and 2 just ahead of the rear tires.

So breifly reading this thread got me to wonder.
Is there a lift point in the front of the car that will lift both front tires at once?

I use ramps right now; but if I'm somewhere else, it would be useful information.

1. I never knew they was a plate in the subframe that we could use... I need to look for this... but the problem with this is since it is so far back (18" to 24" behind the bumper), the jack with handle might not fit back there.... I am sticking to using the front tow hooks.... if I could find something that would allow me to use the tow hooks together to jack it up, then that would be awesome...
2. I have never had any luck using the rear tow hook... I always feel like the car is tipping one way or the other... maybe I need a bigger/better jack...

3. Can anyone recommend some ramps that can be used on a lowered car? I am dropped on Tein SS coilovers and am not slammed, but low enough that I won't clear typical ramps sold at the stores... was thinking of making some ramps, but that requires time (which I am short of now)....

im not a huge fan of ramps, or at least leaving your car on them for extended periods... but the 2 Ton rhino ramps at autozone, O'Reilly's only have like a 17degree incline.. unless your below 2-2.25 of drop.. you should be able to get on them with little to no rubbing..

i suggest to anyone to look for the low profile floor jacks at autostores.. usually will run you 125-150 and will fit under almost any lowered vehicle..

My car is lowered and i can use my 3 ton craftsman jack just fine from the front location. You can get it under and jack it up just fine, the handle wont go up straight but it doesnt have too. Try it, that way you can get the whole front up at once.

I have the rhino ramps and I rub. I'm only lowered on H&R sports. What I do is place a 2x4 on the floor and drive on top of that. Once I'm on top of the wood I put the car in park and place the rhino ramps in place. Once they are on place you will have enough clearance to drive up. This process works for me but it's probably easier, but more expensive, to buy a low profile floor jack though.

A) You aren't THAT low

B) You don't have a front lip

With my drop and front lip my 3 ton Craftsman doesn't get low enough so I have to drive up onto 2x4s first.

yea.. i've priced those ramps before and thought about it...

i think 40 for the 2 tons and 50 for the 4 ton ones.. but i remember somebody with the 2 tons getting on them BARELY with the front lip and eibachs... maybe he used the wood and didnt tell anyone...

those jacks can be pricey though, looking around you can find the tuner jacks for less than 200..

The point is it can be done with a floor jack and the front. (my civic (and my prelude that i used for racing 1.7 inches of front ground clearance) were much lower and could be done the same way.

Simply drive up onto a 2x4 or 2x6 or 2 and you will have more than enough room to get a jack under the car.

well, i guess those ramps come in handy for like the super low people... kind of like a little booster so somebody like me can fit my stupid fat floor jack under the front.. haha

then again, why spend so much when you can just get some wood that is waaay cheaper..

I had the Tire shop tell me they couldn't do my alignment because I was too low. I told them they are retarded and demanded that they took my new tires off because I'm going somewhere else to get it done.

...Later that day, I found a scratch in my rim. They bought me a new one!

They are not as expensive as I thought. I guess you really just need a tall garage to put it in.

How much are they? Seems like overkill unless you are working on your car everyday all day
