J35 Block - MDX = Odyssey?

one question:


is the odyssey block the same as the MDX 3.5L block??

odyssey and pilot 3.5L V6 engine blocks are equivalent to the 01-02 mdx. 03 mdx added 20hp and ??lbs. torque. 04 mdx added 25hp and ??lbs. of torque.......

but the blocks are the same. the xtra hp ame from different tunning of the parts

sounded like i said engine blocks are the same on the mdx regardless of year when i wrote it. hm, maybe needed a comma after 01-02mdx....
fsttyms1 is absolutely correct....

theres a lot of information on this over at v6performance.net

go to the 6GEN Accord section and then to the performance section and check out the 3.5 conversion thread that is a sticky at the top.

yes they are the same, BUT I wouldn't say there are much that are similar. I think the Pilot is more of an MDX then an Odyssey.
