Hello, I am new to this forum and the j32a1 motor. I purchased a sandrail with this motor, it has a turbo kit(7psi) on it but other than that it is stock. I am wondering what other bolt on parts I can get for it to get more HP and TRQ...what works with the turbo?? like i said all I know about the motor is that its a stock j32a1 out of an Acura...Thanks

 

Welcome! What turbo are you using? What about the engine management system?

Do you have a light weight crank pulley? Since you're working on a sandrail and you don't have to worry about a hood closing, maybe consider doing the Odyssey intake manifold spacer? That's all I can think of

 

From what i was told its a to4e 3"inlet 2" outlet with a 50 trim comp w/a stage 5 turbine wheel and t3 turbine housing from Comp Turbo Inc. As far as I can tell its the stock computer but havnt actually looked to make sure. Everything else looks stock, stock pulleys etc... I am not wanting to go internal so I am just wanting a little more power, know what I mean?

Definitely want to see pictures. Lightweight pulleys and spacers are all I can think of as well. Other than going for an aftermarket ems and tuning.

 

To get more power you will have to tune it (should be tuned anyway with a turbo) unfortunately you cant tune the stock ECU. You will need a stand alone. The 3rd gen guys are working on one that might work with this motor.
