Thanks for the info. I have an '03 but it did go out at 24k mi.

I'm out. 3 trannies by 93k miles. Last one got 24k miles before it went. I cannot hope that Acura will *goodwill* me on the next one if it goes after 100,000 miles.

I do not want to have to worry about it.

As far as the car goes- I love the damn thing. But the worry is not worth it.

Car goes for a trade or private sale- we'll see.

here in texas after 4 trannys we get the lemon law, where they hand us cash for what the car is worth at that point it oculd be 3 trannys i can't remeber )=

no but usually they have to occur within a certain period of time from each other. i dont qualify.


almost 1000 miles on it. shifting has gotten better and crisp. hopefully it will last??

oh i already decided to get rid of it. it will probably happen this winter (there are only so many times one is willing to give 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances before they stop)
