It's been a great 3.5 years

It's over. Turned in my 2003 TL-S w/Nav last night. 42 month lease. Had a wonderful time. Hated calling OnStar and terminating the service. Hated calling the insurance company and taking it off my policy. Hated handing over the keys. Hated seeing her sit there as they drove me to the Metro (DC subway).

Wish I could get an '06, but with gas prices and natural gas prices (and my wife no longer working) I won't be able to afford it, sigh.

Moral of the story, don't have kids, they are cute, but expensive! :-)

Bye all, take care.

Take it easy scott...

Believe me...with kids, the "dividends" more than outway the costs... Wouldn't change a thing... And my wife is also a stay-at-home mom as well... It's a trade-off...but in my opinion, a worthwhile trade-off...

Mazda 6i Sport 5-speed. Not bad for $16,000. 1.44% interest rate on the lease.

First 4 cyl car I've ever had. It's not the TL, but it gets me around.

Oh I agree 100%. Wouldn't trade the kids for all the '06 TL's in the world.

Now if we're talking RL's.....hmmmmm.... :-)

good luck with the new car...ya I me and the wife (still sounds funny to say...) talked about it, but we are going to wait till we get more secure (financially). She needs a new ride first for sure - we are looking at a '02 or '03 MDX but who knows.
