IRIDIUM spark plugs and MSD units

does anyone know how this two dance together, and if its worth it putting the plugs and toping them off with a bigger spark than what they already come with...supossing each plug is about $12(x6=72) and the MSD unit about 61-80$ for about 10-20hp.

lots in google...type "MSD IGNITION UNIT" = makes your plug's bigger-than-stock spark into a MEANER BADASS spark to boost combustion/HP even more.

g2g to work, peace.

anyone have any info in what plugs fit our cars and if the MSD thing is worth it or effective?

There isn't one for our car. This is the only thing that comes close, but it only support 4 coil packs. We have 6.

MSD DIS-4 Ignition Control (for use on 6 or 8 cylinder engines with three or four coil packs)

I got the idea from a friend of mine with an RX7, and saw NOT 1 but a buncha those things and he told me what they were, we never got into the subject as i was too busy with his sister.

i just want someone to explain how could these two tango with our TLs. anyone?

call your local advance or parts store and they should have it in the computer.

also the ngk website has a chart.

you can get them at any parts store.

with our distributorless ign. systems, you don't need an MSD box. do you have a turbo, supercharger, etc... that would necessitate a hotter spark?

since our engines are computer contolled, it tells the coil on plug systems just how much spark to give for a certain amount of fuel, timing, temp, etc... it tries to make things as optimal as possible.

to have a system that would control an aftermarket ign. system would take lots of expensive parts and tuning.
