In all fairness Andrew
On my ipaq I have a 1 Gig Harddrive with loads of movies that I can watch as well.
With the 206 Mhz overclocked to 236 Mhz,
this little device added to a TL is HOT!!!

I know I will if the TL I get doesn't have Navi....but it looks like it may cost more to do this other than going straight factory.

Plus I get to use the iPAQ as a PDA and MP3 player.

do you have to pay anything after you get your navigation? like month fee?

Hi I would like to know which GPS system did you buy for the iPAQ? And what are the approximate size (MB) for the maps? Does it have voice navigation and detour reroute function?
Thanks.

I bought the TeleType system. http://www.teletype.com/gps They have a demo you can download.

If you look close, you can see the receiver on the dash. I got the serial cable model, not the CFflash receiver. It does have basic voice navigation, but does not do off track re-routing. Street level detail maps for the ENTIRE U.S. is 840MB. I loaded all of New England highway maps, and street level maps within about 1 1/2 hours of my house in 12MB. That's more than I'll need on a regular basis.

Good deal. $2k is a lot of money. But this is what I'm looking forward to and why I had to get the NAV:

GPS signals are free... your tax dollars at work.

Andrews32's borrowed picture is messed up! The buttons and stick are missing from the navi. What gives?
