I just experienced one of the weirdest/scariest semi-race last night. I was in SanFrancisco going home around 12:30am when all of a sudden this mini van tried to pass me while I was already going 80. I first slowed down to identify it just in case it was a cop, but as soon as I realized it was a mini van I stepped on it harder so he wouldnt pass me. The whole time i was in SS stuck in 5th because I wasn't going to waste gas going on 4th for a mini van. Anyway, this guy punches it and to my suprise he didnt want to give up! I ended up going 110 before cutting it off because for some reason I didnt feel safe egging a mini van on. After his victory, he then cuts me off exiting the very same exit I was going to. Thinking the race was over I carefully try to pass him in a series of S curves, but he punches it again! We must of been going around 80 in these turns! I knew when to cut it off because I heard his tires giving way and on the last turn his tail almost seemed to slip. I felt very unsafe having a minivan next to me while I was in the outside lane. So again, I let him have the "kill". Hmmm...funny, I guess minivan drivers think they're invincible.

The driver was probably a kid, driving the family van and got a little courageous.

After I got my license for 3 days, I took my dad's Legend to school. A guy who drives his mom's, that's the keyword, Ford Winster and said he wanted a race. It was raining like hell. Believe it or not. So we went into the back road where all the farms were. Since my school is in those kind of farm areas. It was all raining and it was a one lane road. He was tailgating me all the way from the start to 110mph. It was in the rain in 30mph zone! I felt very unsafe at 110mph because I could feel that my tire had no contact to the ground at that speed and with 1cm of rain on the ground. I am using summer tires too, which are not ideal for heavy rain use.

I can't imagine how scary it would be driving 110mph Van on a rainy day with bald tires........

IMHO, most of the stupidest drivers I see on the road are driving mini-vans.

One of the worst things I've seen on the highway was a guy driving 45mph in the LEFT HAND lane on a four-lane stretch of I-95 in a mini-van.

Why 45mph?

Because he had the newspaper spread out across this steering wheel and a pair of scissors in his hands - he was cutting out coupons while driving.

Completely oblivous to everyone and everything around him, ignoring everyone who blasted him while their horns as they passed this moron.

Imagine the highways if all the idiots were removed - we would pretty much be alone. They should give a common sense test to all people getting drivers licenses - if you pass, you are licensed - if you fail, we incinerate you!
