Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you guys experienced this. My GF's TL Nav screen sometimes doesn't turn on. She has to shut off the car and then restart the car and then it turns on again. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this something I can take to the dealer to check out? It has happened a few times. TIA.

Yes, this has happened to me only twice.

I have 2003 and I have to shut off the car and restart the car.
If it persists, take it to the dealer. But then again, the problem won't show up when you are at the dealer and he won't believe you.

Just pray about it. =P

That would be my main concern. The dealer would probably never repeat my problem unless it had it for a few months and drove it everyday.

 

Unless the dealer can duplicate the problem you're out of luck. I've had several error messages that disappear after restarting. But of course, it never happens when the Acura technicians look at it. Personally, unless the frequency of outages increases or restarting doesn't work, I wouldn't be too concerned. Computers can be fickle. Just think how many times your Windows operating system has crashed.
