same problems. i have a 99tl with 73k miles on it. the interior is getting pretty nasty.. the vinyl parts on top of dash is going, the seats are ripply, the carpetting is pretty much not really carpet anymore. took it to dealer, they wont even touch it. if my car doesnt have warranty for wear and tear, obviously they wont even want to deal with yours that has 100+ on it..
if i bought a brand new car, wow, i would take care of it so much better than the idiot previous owner of my car.. AGH

well, u dont spend 30K on a luxury sedan and expect everything to be top quality. my dash vents under the windshield warped a while ago. have 52K miles so i think ill try an get that fixed.
That's a very weak and
excuse. The old 1999 Honda Accord the TL-P replaced in my garage didn't have the dash warping, and it sure did look like the same material. My 03 Accord didn't have this problem, and my 05 doesn't. My 2001 Accord didn't have this problem. Hell my 1993 Accord didn't have a dash warping problem!
I expect EVERYTHING from Honda to be top quality because I've owned so many, and up until now, they've all been top notch.
So you're wrong, I've spent as much as $15,000 less on Accords to have 15x less problems.
Edit: For the record, I don't have unrealistic expectations of the TL. But I do expect it to uphold the Honda/Acura name, and a warping dash doesn't cut it. They solved my dash problem quickly, and I don't hold it against them. But realistically, no one can excuse such a blatant lack of quality control.

I had a 94 Accord EX coupe 5 speed before the TL, owned by since new, put 140,000 mi on it, and guess what? Any warpage? NO. Did I take special care to prevent warpage? NO. I cant understand how these cars can have so many problems.
2000, 185,600 miles 0 warping except fro 1 small bit on the passenger side airbag cover and that just started. i cant complain about the car other than it was Made in the US instead of Japan where the Quality would be alot better!
my only problem is on all 4 of the arm rests on the doors...right where the vinyl touches the black plastic for the controls, that is pulling out and not right against the controls anymore.
that is random because its not like that is in direct heat or anything, and the rest of my dash is just fine...oh well I guess.

I had decent luck (I messed it up afterwards though) with putting some hard core glue on that little lip there and using some real small clamps to hold it together against the inside of the window switch and the outside of the arm rest part....I guess the glue they used is pretty weak.
