Has anyone figured out how to wire the front interior reading lights to come on when the doors are open ? My 2003 TL-S has a black interior and man, it is DARK in there at night.

Just curious if this is possible...or not worth the grief.

My 05 Accord does this, but it's the first Honda I've had that did - and I agree it's nice. I'd be interested in doing it if it were simple, but I'm sure it isn't.

 

Yeah, I had an 88 Legend and it had nice front and rear lighting. Do the reading lights come on or is there a separate light on the Honda ?

 

The map lights come on along with the dome light in my 05 Accord.

 

I believe 3G TL does the same thing. y not 2G?

 

it wouls be easier if you jus replace the dome light bulb w/ a LED bulb thhey go for around $12

 

my audi had all the lights come on gradually then they would shut off gradually. it was pretty cool.


in this car i have no lights come on when i unlock it.

 

I believe if you switch your doom light to "door" position, the light will come on when you unlock the car by the remote or by the key.
