Interior LED Lights: Blue or White?
I am going to take advantage of the big HIDExtra black friday sale...
In addition to the HID kit for my 2nd Gen TL, I am also going to get the interior LED light kit for all three of my vehicles...
Big question... I was going to pull the trigger on three sets of white colored interior lights, because I am not really trying to go trendy with the blue look...
But then I paused and was wondering if there are any other considerations I should be thinking about when it comes to blue versus white interior lights...
Are there any other reasons to go blue, other than having the trendy blue halo around the car? Are there safety or clarity considerations?
Just thought I'd ask this community before pulling the trigger...
Happy Thanksgiving!

I would go white, I did blue first and could never read anything or tell the color of what I was looking at. Only had them for a few weeks before I switched them to white.

OK... Next question... The interior LED bulbs come in two varieties...
1) Normal
2) CANBUS (Controller Area Network)
CANBUS bulbs (on relevant vehicles) eliminate light flicker and dashboard warnings.
The site says that CANBUS is commonly found on European luxury cars like BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen, and Porsches, but they don't say anything certain...
My guess is that I could own one of the makes above with or without CANBUS, and I could probably own a different make altogether that might use CANBUS...
Does anyone know whether Honda/Acura uses CANBUS? And if it even matters (i.e., can I buy CANBUS compatible bulbs for a non-CANBUS setup)?

Non CANBUS is the one I used for my TL.
Probably the newer models use that system for monitoring circuits and setting fault codes in the BCM.

Go with white. I bought a whole set for my interior (dome, map, door courtesy, visor mirror, trunk, license plate) from Ebay like a month or two ago. Total I spent about $26 or so, and I rigged the dome to fit two 36LED boards so my car is super bright when I unlock or turn on my lights. If you want pics, I can take some tonight.

Would love to see how you converted your dome to two boards... Pics would be great...
Is the glove box replaceable? I don't think the lights on the right and left of the sunvisor mirrors are replaceable, are they?

Here's a couple pics of my interior and how I made my dome light
Spliced two 36LED boards together for the dome
This is just the map lights and visor mirror lights
My dome light w/two 36LED boards (72LEDs total)
Just my dome light on. Lights up my whole car lol

Yea aside from getting a ticket considering in most states if they're on while your moving its a "rolling violation" you can see ANYTHING clearly with them. Blue looks great in my ABP 03 TLS but I ended up changing my front map lights to white so I could read things and find things I drop in the floor boards. The door courtesy lights are easy just look up bulb list for out cars, get on ebay and type that number in followed by LED and you can find them pretty darn cheap. I also did door projectors in mine.....

This guy has quality stuff and kits both solder and non-solder (PNP). They're pretty darn cheap too compared to even buying individual parts and diy.

I got my LEDS from JTECHnow. You get a full pack for roughly $10 with shipping included.
As far as color I did blue for:
Dome light
Door lights
Trunk light
White for:
Map lights
License plate light
