Interior detailing
WAs just wondering what everyone uses to clean their ebony interior. I can't stand dressings that make the dash all greasy and shiny. I like a nice satin look that doesn't attract dust.
Any suggestions?

I use the Auto Armor interior protectant. I can't stand the shiny look either so I put a small dab of the product on a towel and rub it into the dash well until it is even. It lasts about 3 months at a time if you periodically (every 2-3 weeks) give it a quick brush-over with a small California duster. For the radio and controls plastic, believe it or not I use handi-wipes - the small packets you get at restaurants to wipe off crab and food from your hands. It dries quickly, doesn't steak or shine, and even leaves a nice lemon scent for a couple of days. You will probably hear many different ideas here, but this combo works the best for me, and the interior of my 1.5 year old TL looks just like my friend's new TL-s...

EDIT: Pics a little too big to post, so here's a link to a close up shot of my dash after treating with 303.

I'll give it a try.. because I am cleaning the interior like ever few days.. from finger prints.. to dry skin marks on the glove box.. to lint and dust from the actual cloth I'm using.. ive tried everything! The windows are a whole other issue... I'd rather wash and wax ten cars before I try to clean windows streak free! Especially in the sun!
Thaks for all of the replies!

I have been using 303 for about three months now and I am very satisfied with it. It seems to be a pretty good light duty cleaner for the vinyl and plastic surfaces as well but on really dirty surfaces you will want to use a true cleaner first. It does a great job protecting all interior surfaces of your car including coated leathers. I use Lexol cleaner for the leather but not the conditioner unless the leather surface appears to be getting very dry and brittle. I experienced damage to the cheap, POS leather in my FORD truck after I had been using Lexol conditioner on it for about two years. The leather in the Acura is bound to be better but I didn't want to take any chances.
Connelly Hide Care works awesome. I get it from the Jag dealership. Its all natural, non-glossy, and makes your car smell like new leather. I have used it from day one and interior looks brand spanking new (35k miles) and maybe better. The leather is much softer to the touch unlike the dry plasticy feel from the factory. The only problem is that is a little harder to apply than some others like lexol. Its a paste in a can. So you have to rub it in, let it soak in, and then buff off the excess.

303 is good stuff.
No armor all
it has silicone and other agents to make it shiny, but in the long run it weakens your vinyl and plastic. Plus its greasy and it gets everywhere
I like lexol for everything: leather cleaning and conditioning,
lexol vinylex for plastic and vinyl. It sounds like 303 and/or vinylex are the products for you, they are not greasy at all, its a nice subtle shine. a matte finish is an excellent way to describe it copland 007
