Interior bulbs

i've done the research and some ppl have the Polarg M6 10W for their door and map lights, some are using M4 5W. i haven't had much luck finding out the wattage of the stock bulbs so maybe someone can let me know? is the 10W that much brighter? will it get too hot for the plastic cover?

Stock wattage is 7 watts. The Polarg will be bluish/white in color and will be as bright as the stock bulb. The 10 watts Polarg will not harm your plastic cover.

and how about the M4 5W's? i assumed being lower wattage, they just emit a white light? do you have your lights swapped out?

I actually have the Raybrig 3800K dome light. I ordered it from xtremewhite.com. There's a search you can do for your car to find the correct part at that site. The bulb is a little shorter than the stock bulb, but it still holds the bulb and works. Wattage if I remember correctly is also 10w and I've been using the Raybrig for about a year with no problems.

alrite i'll check out that site. thanks!
is the length of the dome bulb 1 1/4 inch or 31mm? i was about to make my purchase for an M16 today when i came across a blue dome bulb. i'm assuming the light is softer than superwhite bulbs and that'd blend in well with my tint. i keep thinking that the bright white will clash with the tint cuz purpose of the tint is privacy and the white will light everything up...i dunno i think i'm paranoid...i'll prob try the blue for fun as the bulb was only selling for a few dollars. anyone with blue dome bulb? pix? testimonials?

so i put in a blue bulb and within 30secs the thing is damn hot! after a couple mins with the plastic cover on, you can really feel the heat being emitted...maybe if that bulb stays on for 10mins the plastic would start melting. but i do like the soft light which i think complements my tint better than hyper white. it's just weird there's nothing out there that matches the stock 7W or maybe i haven't come across it yet...

I don't think any companies make a blue bulb for the vanity mirror lights. It seems that the vanity mirror light is a special kind of low wattage capsule. If you do come across them, I'd like to get my hands on some of them. My whole interior has superwhite bulbs, except the vanity mirror lights. Raybrig and PIAA are my favorite because they emit a white light without any hint of blue which I don't like. I think Polarg is the worst.

Ditto that on the center console..

Is there a way to change out the center console light without having to take the whole thing apart?
