what cars may you interchange parts with an 03 acura tl base model. im guessing an honda accord but what years? i guess they say its cheaper than an acura dealer to find the parts through honda. all imputs will help me build my acura but have to make sure it runs properly first just replaced front motor mount and makes a huge difference. sooner or later want to slam it, rims, blackout, sunvisors, etc. anybody possibly selling parts in norcal?

A lot of parts from the 98-02 V6 Accord fit the TL, but not all.

 

-the suspension components for a 98-02 accord will fit our cars.
-exhaust components for a v6 98-02 accord will fit our cars as well, but will need slight modification depending on what you get because our cars are longer than the accord.
-not sure what year, but 2piston acura legend calipers fit our car as well. It would be a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a BBK.
-I've also seen pictures of our cars with 3G TL sterring wheels.
-There's a DIY for an RDX fuel injector mod, but (please correct me if i'm wrong) i believe i read somewhere that s2k fuel injectors are direct bolt on.


I'm still relatively new to the forum so if anyone could verify what i just said, that would be great.

 

1995 Legend LS-C (coupe) calipers are the sweet mod for the brakes
same price as TL calipers and the parts store is happy to get TL calipers back as cores
there is a much larger resale market for them-- than some freaky 2 piston-- fits 1 year/model unit- they sold you!

(there are several calipers for the legend- this set has pistons closest together in size for our use)
combine with great rotors and pads- ss brake lines and the TL stops like it should
