intake res. or exhaust res?

Which would make the most difference, taking off the intake or exhaust resonators? Also I will be installing my aem V2 soon and I think the intake res will need to be taken out to do this, please correct if I am mistaken. But if I'm right I would need to keep my exhaust resonator, correct?

Yes you will have to take out the intake resonator to put in your V2 intake. You can remove your exhaust resonators (we have 2) if you want. you wont get any more power but you will get a deeper louder exhaust sound. Some do this and keep the stock mufflers, Ive never heard this personally though.

Since you are thinking about the Comptech mufflers, I would keep your exhaust resonators on for now to see how you like the sound of the mufflers first.

Unfortunately I just got married so I think it will take a little longer than I expected to get the comptech exhaust.

I hear ya buddy...and it won't be just a little longer, try a lot longer (esp. if your wife hates you spending money on mods).

Well just get the larger exhaust resonator taken out at a muffler shop. You can always put it back in later, but I would try that if money is tight...that wont cost much at all.

i heard that you can get a nasty resonance in the cabin when you take off the exhaust res. So while it is a cheaper soultion to getting mufflers, you might want to think about that.
