Intake res delete

So ive had the intake res delete before cause that was when i had my cai, then when i got my tsudos i put back on my resonator (Dont ask me why). So I just decided to take it out today, and so this is the first time im hearing it with the sound of Tsudos, and i cant really pick up a big difference... Is it cause my Tsudos are just cancelling out the sound of the intake? Btw anyone know how Tsudos and mid muff delete sounds on a TLP? My TL has a resonator also...

From what I can gather:
99-01 TL-P: Mid Muffler + Exhaust Resonator
02-03 TL-P: Mid Muffler Only
02-03 TL-S: Mid Muffler + Exhaust Resonator

As for the intake resonator, you should only be able to hear it at WOT(Wide Open Throttle). Even then, the intake shouldn't be overpowering the exhaust. They don't "cancel" each other out, but one is just louder than the other.

Dude, don't get a SRI. There's a reason its labeled as "NP" on the DIY thread. Up to you though.

Edit: NP = Not Preferred

You can make a SRI for stupid cheap out of PVC, a filter, and two pipe clamps. An intake does not gain much if anything in terms of horsepower. You are better off saving the ~$100 from the intake and putting that towards headers where you can actually see some performance gains.

^ Yup. And if you don't feel like making one yourself, they have SRIs on ebay for $30 shipped.

Or for just the cost of a filter, you can attach it to the end of the stock intake tube where the air box attaches.

No, he has a TL-P. They have this second intake resonator chamber shaped kind of like a J. It would be better to just buy a $30 SRI.

Or just get a CAI and be done with it.
