intake manifold cleaning

intake manifold cleaning
hey guys i have 48k on my 02 tls, should i clean out the intake manifold now or should i was until i get higher?

i want to also install spacers

Youl see if ya need to when your gonna install the spacer.Mine was pretty clean at 100 000 so at 48 you should be ok,minor build up thats all.

when you install the spacers use a little Carb Cleaner and spray the hell out of it......

id wait till youinstall the spacers. then when you have it off i would clean it out

clean the EGR valve while your at it. very easy clean and it can't hurt, use Brake & Parts Cleaner and some pipe cleaners.

thanks, where is ht eegr valve located, it is on the TB. does anyone have a pic of it.

it is located on the right side of the lower intake manifold. when you take off the IM and TB when you install your spacers it is close to where your TB was.
