intake HELPP!!!

intake HELPP!!!

any one here went from a tl-p to a tl-s and used their old CAI???

does it fit, what modifications are needed?

anyone know what the difference and how to make it fit into a tl-s?

No, i do'nt know if it fits or not. A simple way to find out is calling AEM tomorrow and ask them. If it fits, then TL and TLS will have the same part # for their intake. Otherwise, there will be two. More than likely, they will give you the "yes" or "no" upfront.

i checked the pipe size is different. diameter is off by .5 inch. maybe because of the type s' larger throttle body? oh well. sorry to get your hopes up when it doesn't fit. btw, you have a new pm!

I doubt you can make it fit. The TL-S AEM is bigger than the TL-P. If you get creative, then you can make anything fit, so good luck.

what exactly is the difference tho the bends in the pipe the diameter, the holes in the pipe, the length? specifics? thanks

TL-P intake is 2.5 inch and TL-S is a 3 inch. Dont use a TL-P intake. It will decrease the airflow and thats the whole point of having an intake.

yeah i know but im getting it for cheap and im only really interested in the sound...it should be just as restrictive as the stock cant be worse!!! do you know any other difference?!?!
