Im curious to know if a 2000 TL AEM cold air intake will fit my 99 TL. AEM doesnt make an intake for the 99 so i want to know if i puchase a 00 cold air will it fit my car or would i have to mod it a bit to fit. Please help.

 

Hey, i tried Pming you earlier, here's what you need. There's no need for modifications.

Part #21-416 For: 99-03 ACURA TL NON TYPE-S

Optional bypass value: # 20-402S
Replacement Filter: #21-202DK

The entire CAI kit comes with everything you need.. pipe, filter, license plate frame, decals, etc. I got mine back then for $173 shipped. Looking around for yours should cost less than that. If you need one, let me know... I'm thinking of giving mine away since I have an -S now.

How much would you want for that AEM CAI Joe? I'm interested in purchasing one. O and BxPortoRoc try this site they have some intakes for the 1999 TL, which I have, from AEM, Injen, and Fujita. Hope that helps.

I'll see if I can post pics and a For sale thread in the black market, I'll let you know by later on tonight. The CAI's already been precut too since I had a bypass valve earlier installed on it. I'll post a pic tonight.
