Question Intake

Does an intake make a big difference at all without changing the exhaust to go along with it? I am thinking of grabbing an intake for my TL but unsure if it will really effect the performance of my ride!..

Maybe 5hp. It is better to have it in combination with exhaust and headers, but alone it adds cosmetic look to your engine and a nice sound in the upper RPM band.

Thanks,
I like how they look in the engine bay. I am just not into spending money for nothing. Possibly in the future i might grab one. but right now i think i might leave it stock. and just do body mods for now, like add the underbody kit, and rims.

hey

if you want to get a really cool sound when you get over 4000rpm just take off the resonator. I know it is a cheap way to do it but the sound is pretty cool and it was better than spending 200$ on a intake when i don't open my hood that much. Plus it doesn't cause any damage I think acura just put it on so it will keep the car quieter.

Take off front bumper. Unscrew two bolts. You'll need an extension for one of them. Then pull.
