Instrument illumination light is out 2001 TL

I just installed my new after market stereo for my 2001 TL and I carelessly shorted the illuminiation and illumination control and now the instrument dashboard is completely dark. Instead of connect the orange wire from new HU to the orange/white wire from the adapter, I connected orange and orange/white from the adapter. Everything are normal except no light to see what's going on in the dark. All other light indicator are still functioning as you turn on the ignition: oil, engine, break, ABS..., gear shift.
I opened and inspected all the bulbs and fuse and found nothing wrong. The clock light is on but when I turned on headlight, every turned off.
Does anyone have any suggestion and how much for the fix?

The radio supplies power to illuminate the dash I believe. You either have the wrong wire hooked up or have a blown fuse. There's more than one fuse box so check your manual to see which fuse to look for.

I checked all the fuses, I also plugged in back the old radio and didn't help.
