Installing Tein SS DIY??
Does anyone have a DIY install for the TEIN SS coilovers. My set is coming in tommorow. I did a search but all the links to them dont work, cuz this stupid site is always getting maintances or whatever and the links to the DIY or gallerys never work, but anyways can someone post up a DIY pleaseee, specially on taking out the backseats,, Thanks

If you are good with tools, and don't run into any problems, it should take about 6-7 hours. But chances are, it'll take more than that.
Before you get started, I would recommend getting a can of PB Blaster and spray that onto the lower control arm, where the strust assembly comes together. It's held by one bolt, and PB Blaster will loosen it up. Don't use too much torque, otherwise you'll snap the bolt and you will have no choice but to take it to a shop.
With only 12,000 or so miles on my car, I had to soak those bastards with PB Blaster to loosen them up. Before that, even air guns couldn't unscrew it. Fvcking Honda and their cheap ass anti-seize. Ugh... The more work I do on my car, the more I want to burn this POS. Yeah, the end products might work well, but from an engineering stand point of view, it's horrible to work with. You will know what I mean as you start working on your suspension.
FYI, you don't need the spring compressor described in the DIY because you will replacing the entire strut assembly. Just swap it out with the stock one.
