Installing LED Flashers in the headlights

Hey guys,

Im about to install the LED Flashers to blink when alarm is armed, and stay on when the parking lights on. Now, I also want to add a switch, so I can turn them off completely, the switch has three inputs, Ground, Load, and Power....Im slighty confused with LOAD input....the hot wire should be connected to power or to load?

thanx in advance for yer help

yes, i forgot to mention that one, so the hot wire to the LOAD, and then just 12v to power the lighted switch? can same hot wire be on both?

or if i dont want it to light up, i just dont connect the power?

i dont see a problem with having the hot wire on both.. but if u dont want it to light up then u dont have to connect it.. you will still get power.. just no light

only when the alarm armed they will be blinking,

with parking lights on, they will be steady on.

im not talking about factory alarm, well, you can still do it, you can make the LEDs blink when the car is off, and stay on, when the parking lights are on...same concept. Flashers have 4 wires, red to battery, black to ground, blue to headlights/parking lights, and yellow to a hot 12 wire that is off when the car is off.

Well, I just finished doing mine, I must say it looks awesome, a bit too bright, but nice. I assume it will not drain my battery too much. I believe it was 15 units of power.

Power: 50mA / 25mA (constant / flashing) is this a lot of consumption for flashing 25mA?

I installed the flasher in the high-beam area, so when they are one, the fill up the high-beam area which looks pretty nice.

I also realized that I dont really need the switch, I thought that I may need it to turn off the flashers if they were catching attention from the cops. I pointed the flasher towards the reflective wall of the high-beams area. As it turns out, when the headlights are on, and the flashers are on at the same time, the flasher are almost invisible. They only fill up high-beam area when the headlights are off, which is what I need.

I will try to take a little video tomorrow.

here is the video, the quality is OK. The flashers look better in person.
