installation of sways

has anyone installed sways on a lowered car?
i ordered the comptech sways and i never installed sways before. i did see the DIY section. i was just wondering how hard it would be with a lowered car.

I did it from the instructions from the DIY... I had found a couple of another site and just read them all. It was harder than expected but not that hard overall but my car wasn't lowered.

about 2-2.5 hours or so with a friend's help... this was my first time doing ANYTHING. I think the rear was easier to do than the front.

it doesnt matter if your car is lowered, you will have it up on jack stands, so clearance wont be a issue.. if you already did your springs, this will be a cake walk

oh ok just afriad. i did the springs by jacking the car up, 1 wheel at a time and it took forever. ;( not to mention. i did all my work in a 1 car garage cuz its cold outside.

do i really have to purchase a torque wrench? i never used one before. where is the best place to buy one? sears or a automotive store?

i would just go to like autozone or advanced auto,or one that rents out that kind of tool (most do now) they are fairly expensive for a decent one. i would get a set of jack stands and support the whole front end to make it easier.

If you installed your own springs, the sway bars will be a joke. I also did my springs, and the sways bars was actually a fun time.

You're gonna love those sway bars.

is it ok if i remove the sways and then install them a week later. my package comes monday and i think its easier just to remove them now and install them when they come. less work and time.
