The passenger side is real easy. you also need to check and replae any sensors that are bad (from what ever caused the bags to deploy)

you shouldnt need any type of bolts. Its a matter of unbolting. and reinstalling. The passenger side you need to remove the glove box to get access to the 3 bolts that hold it in and the wire harness. Once undone then (with a bit of force) push straight up and it will pop out. Drivers side is a little more involved but not bad. I have a PDF of fixing something else that involves removing the airbag if you want, PM me your e-mail address and ill send it to you

I take no responsibility from improper installation or injury from installing them on your own or improperly

This has to be the dumbest idea I've ever read on this, or any other, automotive forum.

I didn't say it was hard, I said it was dumb. If it's not a dumb idea, why all the previous disclaimers?

It's not a dumb idea, we're just covering our assess in case he does something wrong. I've removed my driver's side airbag several times with no problems.

Oh - I was thinking airbags - as in suspension - which is dumb on a 99 TL.

Airbags, as in SRS - got it.

What a genius. I could care less about the number of posts. Set my count back to zero for all I care. I could also care less whether anyone, particularly you, respect me. Have fun at your prom this month.
