where are you located.?

also to install teins. FRONT installation the bolts i think are sizes 12, 14 and 17. not sure. sorry. and u dont need to compress the teins i hear.

step 1. remove ur old shocks.
a. Jack up the car.
b. remove the wheel
c. there is 2 bolts you must remove.
d. look at the bottom of the shock there is like a fork.
e. remove the bolt behind the top of the fork by the shock.
f. remove the bolt on the bottom of the fork.
h. the fork should come off the shock itself.
i. pop open the hood.
f. remove the screws on top of the shock. ( about 4)
g. remove the shock complelty off.

step 2. install the tein
a. place the tein where the old shock was.
b. screw the top part in where the hood is.
c. place the shock on the fork and insert the 2 bolts u removed.
d. put the wheel back, close the hood and ur done.

i hope this helps.

for the teins, u dont gotta compress the springs on the teins.

also if u bought pillow mounts u can use those if not. u gotta use the factory mounts, then u would have to compress the old spring and then remove the factory mounts to re use with the teins.

i just got done installing my tein ss suspension the other day. its no difference in installing these like you would with any other.
the only thing u need to get the washer, pillowball mount, top washer, and the screw to hold everything in place.
i dont know if this help cuz you maybe just got the spring teins only. if so its no difference on which brand of springs you get. the link to installing comptech is above.

The June issue of SUPERSTREET has an installation page on TEINS. It's towards the back of the magazine.

thanks for the help guys. the faq on how to install the comptech springs helped alot. i did have to get a spring compressor to re-use the OEM mounts, no biggie, you can rent them for free from autozone. let metell you hand compressing a spring is a B*tch. but its all worth it, that beautiful drop :-D

any recomendations on settings. i have the damper turned all the ay to the left (softest ride?) and the height about at the middle of the setting. thnx
