Inspire conversion question

So I'm finally getting around to modding my tl and figured since its winter I'll do something simple. I know other steering wheels will fit our TL(i.e. 3g TL) but I was wondering if any Honda wheels fit? Such as an 2003 Accord or something. I think it would look incredibly lame to throw H badges on it and then once your in the car you see a nice big A on the steering wheel. Any suggestions?

the 3gen tl wheel will not fit. no one has done it yet. the 99-02 accord wheels will fit but u dont have the volume changing option on it.

..you can use a '99 - 01 from a Honda Inspire like how eleventure did. Here's a couple pics below of his setup.. pretty sweet!

..he's obviously going for the JDM look. And you will have the volume control, just no cruise controls.

I don't mind the lack of either sets of controls. My tl had some pos alpine in it when I bought it and the guy said they couldn't rewire the steering controls, lol? Plus I've used cruise control maybe twice in the 16 months I've owned my tl so this is great news. Thanks broski.

Well I've always been big on Japanese cars in general, I owned a Nissan before my Acura and here in Utah a complete inspire conversion would be insanely unique which leads me to my next question, seeing how 02 accord steering wheels fit due to the matching platform do the center caps from the honda wheels mesh with our rims? I will not go through with this mod unless I can do everything even those tiny little things.

egh.. its possible... nothing i've ever seen though. honda is something they are proud of. not sure why they would put acura badges.

what motive would they have?

people here do it because of roots... not saying they dont... but it would be dumb, theres no meaning behind it.

i can imagine.. look at my ADM stuff bro! lol

then you really haven't looked much at all.
its about as common as people converting to honda badging on cars such as the tl.

anyway this thread isn't supposed to be a debate. op was just asking a basic question so unless you can add to his search then dont respond.

if you want to be mad jdm then get honda badges.
if you don't care stick w/acura badges.

no one cares what you do.

no one was debating or arguing.. what were you reading?

he said japanese people do... i said it wasnt something i saw before. no need to lecture us. we were within reason.

and to the OP... changin every tiny thing is a maticulous project.. but it can be done.. just keep searchin around for those small changes

I'm pretty sure the odyssey wheel (and most likely accord)swaps over. As for the controls they just screw in, might have to do a bit of wiring. You all know how Honda makes their stuff, everything is interchangeable with everything else.

98-02 accord steering wheels fit. and about the cruise controls, the steering wheels come with it. Its pretty much identical to our 2nd gen steering wheels, just with an H instead of an A.
