Injen Race Division Intakes

http://machiii.net/intake/injen_acura.html

check the link, apparently theres 2 different kinds of intakes that injen offers

im interested in the race division intakes, does anyone have these? they seem like the equivelent of the AEM V2

i want a nice low sounding growl from my intake, sounding as close to a v8 as possible, and after searching and talkin to friends i guess im going with injen

would the cheaper injen intakes be the same as the AEM ones...im definately not gonna buy AEM..anyone with injen intakes holler at me about them

Mach III has good prices for a shop and are pretty helpful, but I wouldn NEVER get anything installed there. I've heard of a couple of horror stories for something as a simple as a shock/spring install. A friend of mine went to have shocks/springs put in at Mach III only to have them sever his ABS lines.

people have gotten the Injed RD intake already. edgalang is one i cant think of off the top of my head.

also, im not sure what is the difference between the RD1480 and the RD1481, although they should both fit fine. just go with the RD1481... the 02 and 03 TL-S are exactly the same.

really all the CAI's will sound virtually the same. The V2 has a slightly different tone because of its design...but if you want a V8 sound then the V2 is for you! When I hit VTEC, the sound is focking great and really does sound loud and mean.

like I said, all CAI's will sound virtually the same under VTEC = loud and mean, but the V2 has some slight other sounds that make it stand apart plus it gives more HP than the regular CAI (Injen Race div. included).

the race division intake is only for the Type S... there other intake is for the regualr TL. so comparing the RD to the V2 is pointless because one is for the TL-S and the other is for the TL.
