By the way, they have a fix for it. It's a teflon tape they put around the metal side of the opening. Tell your dealer about this bulletin and they will get an update kit for ya...

The sales rep said some prep guy is supposed to call me to confirm my pickup date. You think if I tell him about the sunroof and squeaky seat problem they will fix it before I pick up the car?

Anyone experience this? What is it? How do the Wipers smear and streak? Is the rubber of the wiper actually comming off on the glass?

I have that problem with the windshield wipers. When they are on the windshield becomes fuzzy. At first i tried cleaning them but it didnt work. I plan on going to the dealer for new ones.
I havent noticed any squeaks from the windshield. When does it happen, at high speeds?

The squeaking problem is with the sun roof when the visor is at certain positions. completely open or completely closed i belive.

Do you think the smearing problem might be the liquid they put inside the water box thing? or does it smear when its wet without using the water sprayer unit. What the heck is that called anyway?

My windshield wipers smeared the first time it rained in sunny California (not often). They left two black lines where they stoped at the top of their cycles. After a few rainy days, the problem disappeared. I think it was the "new" rubber.

The sunroof "rattle" is because of a black plastic piece. I was driving one day with the shade pulled back and sunroofed closed. Kept hearing this damn rattle, so I turned the stereo off and closed the shade and it stopped. Took me a while to pinpoint the source.

I have a question for you guys with squeaky seats. Is it the seat or the buckle attached to the seat that squeaks? Mine only squeaks when I am wearing the seatbelt. I figure the bolt needs some tightening.

It is the seat belt buckle... I was thinking if you could spray a little bit of oil around that and maybe it would go away...Things like that don't bother me, its a new car...Scratches and dents, those kill me, I can't stop looking at the damage once it happens !!!!

I got this seatbelt sound.. when i hit the brake it comes out.. lol

(or top??) haha.. is that what u guys hear for the sunroof rattle thing? (it happens to me no matter if i leave the shade open or closed)

I just have a huge wind tunnel effect going on. I just close the visor if the sunroof isn't open. Its like a huge windy sound.
That and those ****ing mirrors............. Sheesh

Wierd/Sucks about that wind noise. I'm sure a wind deflector would get rid of it although it shouldn't happen in the first place.

Whats the issue with the mirrors?
