I think it is going to b the same way for me with these gages as my HID's. When I flick them on I am going to get a grin on my face (at least mentally).

Wow aren't you guys all nice and anal . Gotta love the "yeah you're a fellow TL owner, I'll be a good guy" or any attitude like that. Geez I know if someone on this post needed help from me or asked something I wouldn't b!tch them out for it...I hate how some people here are such b!tches...and yes, that includes most of the posters between my last post and this one. It's just sad...you guys are all so d@mn selfish <sigh>, hate to share a car type with you.

As for the gauges...I'm not altogether worried. We'll start another groupbuy if people really want them...I guess you guys are such jerks cause you're all pissed about dropping your money in a hole and waiting for it...but being all bratty to people like me and Holmes85...ugh.

And not to harp on you too much songoku...considering you've been cool in all posts but this one...but saying people will be jealous over you because of some gauges? Yeah, that was mean...and pretty fricking pathetic too. Saying that people will be jealous when they can get another group together, order another set, that aren't so ugly red...and look better than the set you're getting...I mean...geez man what's wrong with you?

Holmes85, I'll be posting a groupbuy on Indiglo gauges soon I think...or I may just go to http://groupbuycenter.com/default.asp where not all the guys are such @sses and get a set myself. Either way, look for my post on this.

By the way guys, I joined the forum after the group buy was done with...so stop the crap about "you should have ponied up". It's called not being here. And I know if some guy like Holmes85 asked me in my groupbuy if I could get one I would go call up the group and say "Hey, guys, can we get another one made?" and they would probably say yes since they're still fabricating them, means they get more margin (profit), and doesn't hurt anyone any all around. You people make me absolutely sick with your selfish, childish, thoughtless crap! Flame away!

Dude, you need to relax. Not all of those comments were aimed at you, and none of them were as rude as yours.

We've waited half a year to get where we are. There were months were no new orders came in. It has been very frustrating.

What songoku meant was that we've been saying all along people would regret not getting in on this. Now that its happening and we have a better color scheme and a new combo feature, people are regretting it and are going to be jealous. I hope those people who had a chance to get in on it before but didn't are jealous. I tried so hard to get orders... I even put an auction on Ebay but didn't get any new orders. That auction cost me money for nothing! I ended up buying 3 gauges and other members bought multiple also. For those that delayed our gauges to be able to jump in at the end is not fair.

For everyone else, what do you want me to say? Sorry? Re-read my last post again, you will probably have a chance to get these gauges retail at some point in the future. Or buy them from someone with multiple. But move fast, there are only 3-4 people with multiple. In fact, if you look hard enough, you can find out exactly who by reading a certain thread..

Just me, they should look just like that pic I posted. I fixed much of what you said. I think the only thing I didn't do was change the redline. I tried out what you suggested and it just didn't look right. Besides, the big thick redline gives a danger look.

Oh, also I didn't make the 10, 30, 50, etc ticks on the speedo the same size as the red 20, 40, 60, etc ticks because they'd cut into the thin blue arc that runs alongside all the ticks. The red ones already cut into it, any more would ruin the arc. But I made the blue ticks a little wider and slightly taller to match the red ones better.

B-Lo, I had thought you guys got the second set? I guess not! I'll ask about it and post what I find.

I'm aware they weren't all aimed at me man...that's not why I reacted like I did. I reacted like I did because I'm sick of the people here acting so badly toward others. We should all be friends here...all working together, sharing ideas, bettering our cars, coming up with new things. And if you will read back through the posts you will see that the posts are anything BUT helpful, OR considerate. The plain fact is people are more eager here to shoot off their mouths, and make their own preferences, selfish attitudes, and feelings known, ready to put down others, be snooty etc. Reminds me of kindergarten and plainy makes me sick.

What songoku [I]did[/] was quote a poor guy's post and say "see I told you so". That's anything but cool.

Moomaster_99 epitomizes my direction of anger when he said "Who cares??? We have them now....for all those people that didn't want to order before..they can go screw off" YOU SHOULD CARE YOU JERK. Man, if I had a sweet deal like getting custom gauges made...and some guy wanted them, I would find out if I could help him out. I mean Moo, you're so childish.

So that's what I was ranting about Nate, not for me personally...but for some of the jerk offs that I noticed in this post. Also, I don't know if you're aware of this Nate...but over at groupbuycenter.com there are thousands of group buys going on...and well, you could have easily started it there. In fact, come to mention it...4IG is hosting quite a few group buys...they're selling indiglo gauges...look like yours...and are in fact only $50. I bet they'll have every design they offered you guys up there on that site pretty quick...and that means you guys have paid $30 over what you should have. Not only that, but those of you wanting to sell your gauges, when they place all the models up on groupbuycenter, you're screwed...because they're going to sell them for a lot less than you can to break even (no I'm not happy about that, I know you guys worked hard). I may be wrong but well check it out.

May make you few snooty @ss guys who feel all special think again eh

Cheers,

Austin.....

Sorry if my post made you so mad.... I would never harm or fool anyone over just gauge... I just tried so hard to gather 50 people by posting about this gauge here & there, and nobody seemed care about that. And I know every one of us who bought the gauge worked their @ss off, too. You don't know how it feels like to be ignored from everyone. I am just trying to be cool guy here... Can't you just take it as easy way?? I love this forum and I know you do, too. Just like you mentioned, we're all friends here.... We don't have to fight each other...
Again.....I apologize to you & all the members think same way as Austin did for my rudeness, but was that really hard to forgive??? Man.........feels like I am the only bad guy here...

Whatever guy... I'm pretty sick you going around with your know-it-all and holier-than-thou attitude, while actually offering up little to no information. Meanwhile, I've seen you do absolutely SHAT to back up all the crap you talk.

You're not the only bad guy, and you're not a bad guy either. You just posted something uncool that's all. Sorry if I was brash but this and another post are really pissing me off. And I totally understand the sweet feeling of finally getting the 50 ppl and the gauges ordered, and I congratulate you, but you don't have to rub it in TOO hard. I'm not mad at you promise.

Nate:
Nope, not pissed off...annoyed and disgusted by people that act the way I talked about. That's all.
And now I'm crying because I think a lot of people here are acting like jerk offs? Yeah, okay Nate...right, that makes sense. Guess you'd rather label me as whining them defend yourself or anyone else...but that's ok...I can see how you can't.
Takes one to know one? Are you saying I'm childish or I'm a jerk? I'm childish by posting that you people need to get a grip hoping that'd turn the awful sentiment around? Okay...or that I'm a jerk because I'm selfish or something? I'd be the first to help get a guy gauges or anything...nice try though Nate...actually no, it wasn't.
Yes, I am helpful I always try to be. Now you know a place where you can start future group buys and get more people, plus the people you guys were such b@stards too can get their own...so thank you Nate.
Actually I'm not b!tching about not having any...I was asking if I could get any. Once you guys blew me off I found other ways, which is why I'm no longer asking I'd rather get em from people who don't act so greedy.
Interesting someone like you calls anyone "know-it-all and holier-than-thou"...that's basically a good summary of YOU Nate...at least from all the posts I've read. Even in the dash lighting post you seemed to know everything, but it quickly became apparent you didn't know crap, ha you with your multimeter not knowing how to measure anything. Nice try again though. As for offering no help and with nothing to back it up...I've said in this post there's an alternate way to buy your gauges, posted the link, and posted the price. How's that for not backing it up? I posted another thread just yesterday about square fogs for the TL, how's that for not backing stuff up? Or how about directing holme85 to the guy that wanted to sell his gauges you're getting him...how's that for not helping...you're pitiful Nate, you really are. And you don't seem to have learned jack off these forums either, at least about how to act...which only leads me to the assumption that you just post a lot because you have too much time on your hands...

Didn't dislike you before now...love how you like to drive the nail in...

Austin519

p.s. - Nate, I guess it's now time for me to tell you "hey man, chill out, not all of the comments were directed at you, and we're all friends here"

Hey Nate!

Its cool... I just gave my input and if it didn't look right, its OK... no big thing. I just want to make sure that the gauges we get are OK!

Thanks for everything... only a couple more weeks!

Your problem is you are worried about people thinking you don't know anything. You try too hard to know everything and it becomes apparent very quickly you don't know jack. And yes, I was calling you are a childish jerk.

"Even in the dash lighting post you seemed to know everything, but it quickly became apparent you didn't know crap, ha you with your multimeter not knowing how to measure anything"

I researched and posted what I know. I'll be the first one to tell you I don't know something if I don't know it. You posted a bunch of bull**** on electronics that made no sense. Thank god we have some good members on this forum who aren't talking out their @ss. You went on and on about fiber optics, then changed your story and said you thought we were talking about footwell lighting.

"As for offering no help and with nothing to back it up...I've said in this post there's an alternate way to buy your gauges, posted the link, and posted the price. How's that for not backing it up? I posted another thread just yesterday about square fogs for the TL, how's that for not backing stuff up?"

Because thats not doing anything. You can talk all day long, but at the end of the day, what do you have? Talk? We already knew about the groupbuy center so your revolutionary idea, isn't. Go to the groupbuy center and try to get your gauges. You won't. Go try to find fogs that fit in the holes of our bumpers. You won't. Try and make a blue light kit for your dash. You won't. Try and change the needles on your gauges. You won't. I mean c'mon man! Cut the bull**** and prove you can do just one thing you claim.

"Didn't dislike you before now...love how you like to drive the nail in..."

I'm not on this earth to be liked or to worry about what anyone thinks. I'm tired of your bull**** and tired of wasting my life typing long @ss posts to put your punk @ss in your place. From now on I'll ignore your bullsh!t posts, except to "pull the cord on your punk @ss stories" every now and then, just for kicks.

Nate:
I will try to make this shorter, because as I said in the other post bickering with you doesn't really help anyone, and is a waste of time.

"Your problem is you are worried about people thinking you don't know anything. You try too hard to know everything and it becomes apparent very quickly you don't know jack. "
I talk about only what I know about, what I don't know about I ask. I happen to know a good bit about car stereo and electronics, because I have been IASCA competing for a few years, been installing for about 6 years, and will get my Computer Engineering Honors degree next fall. I have never worried about others thinking I don't know anything...if I don't know I ask them. Easy.

"You posted a bunch of bull**** on electronics that made no sense."
I'd like to see what bull$hit I posted. I said that fiber optics, which can give off light across their lengths, could be used to illuminate the footwell easily enough, better than a neon tube. I was under the impression that you wanted to light up the dash and console by running light tape in the edges, to give it an outline effect when the light tape was on. Midway through the footwell lighting post you said you wanted to light behind the dash. Fiber optics would not be the good solution for this, wide dispersion LEDs would. This is why I dropped the fiber optics and suggested LEDs.

"Because thats not doing anything. You can talk all day long, but at the end of the day, what do you have? Talk? We already knew about the groupbuy center so your revolutionary idea, isn't. "
Posting a link isn't talking Nate, it's sending the people here to a site to get what they want. If I was just talking, I'd do what you do. And if everyone already knew about it then great, I'm glad. I just assumed since some people were wondering where to get the gauges that they didn't. If they did then great. As for finding the gauges, I have. Finding the fogs, I'm in the process of. Making a blue light dash kit I am (yes Nate, you're not the first with this idea...or the only one that can do it), and change the needles of my gauges I will.

As for proving one thing I've claimed...I can send you some screen shots of the car computer if you like...its running with two monitors, its fingerprint ID recognition, it dialing up to the internet. If that will make you happy, let me know.

"I'm tired of your bull**** and tired of wasting my life typing long @ss posts to put your punk @ss in your place. From now on I'll ignore your bullsh!t posts, except to 'pull the cord on your punk @ss stories' "
You do that Nate...don't write back anymore I won't mind a bit. Stop filling the posts up with garbage...you won't hear me complain. And I'd be interested to see you pull the cord on my stories...seeing as I've only relayed two stories here ever. But yeah, you do that Nate, and puff your chest out and act all macho, I'll just sit back, relax, and laugh I'll at least show my maturity by ending this, good luck with your dash lighting and gauges Nate.

Austin, its about time you figured out to just shut up. Your running around calling everyone childish, but your acting like a child by replying to everything. Your not a child (are you?) you don't have to get in the last word. Obviously, no one in this thread appreciates your attitude, so quite trying to justify it. Move on. Actions speak louder than words. You going to get your on group? Do it. Then you'll feel the frustration.

Learn a lesson man. If people don't reply favorably to your post, just forget. Unless you were misunderstood, forget it. It is the internet. You don't know these people. You don't have to live with these people. You don't have to like these people.
And, you'll probably never meet these people.

If you act like this about everything as minute as this, your going to have a rough life. Put it in perspective. You missed out, but the sun will rise tomorrow. The only thing is when the moon rises your gauges will light up white, while ours light up blue and red.

I will admit I'm one of the bad guys since I do believe we were a lil harsh on some people, those who are new members where we took for granted and assumed everyone. We should try and help new members understand what we went through to get these gauges. As for older members who knew about it and didn't participate, I can't believe they got the nerve to ask for the gauges now if they are requesting it in this thread!

I believe its more of a misunderstanding issue. I hope the bad guys (we who bought the gauges) are not angry at Austin or any new member who were not involved with these gauges in the first place. Hmmm I'm not making any sense am I? I'm sure everyone is willing to help another member, but this topic on gauges is just out of the ordinary.

If you do a search on these gauges, we have been talking and requesting this for HALF A YEAR, There must have been over a 1000 posts on this. I'm sure if you were one of us who bought it, you will understand our anger and frustration as well. So don't take it personally. Stay here, have fun, and enjoy the rest of the forums.

Nate quick question, the changes that you've made are to the original CAD drawing right? The "final" that you posted look sorta blurry as if it was done in photoshop. This is most noticeable on the 50 and 150mph hash marks. Also, I still noticed that the final still don't have enough has marks in the fuel/temp part of the gauge.

Because I did it in Photoshop. I sent them the pic to show them exactly what we wanted. They didn't use it exactly to make our gauges, they used it to change their CAD drawing to make our gauges. Which should be done very soon!
