Important "Carbon build up in the Throttle Body"

Have any of you guys cleaned your throttle body due to excessive carbon built up, since most of you guys have an intake installed you should remove it and take a look and see how much carbon has been stuck to the throttle plate, i've recently just Polised my throttle you get some gain in horsepower easy mod.

Your post is misleading, somepeople might think you gain HP just by cleaning. By polishing do you mean you smoothed out the walls of your TB? It might be good for 1HP but nothing you can feel.

I've noticed that there was carbon build up so i cleaned it up, but you should clean it often i say during a tune up is the best time.
I had it cleaned and also polished it it was 25 cfm gain after i polished it, the throttle body is measured in cfm, the mechanic told me that it was a 25 cfm more.
Just trying to let you guys know about carbon build up check it out for yourself.
