Impact Screw Driver. how does it work?
Impact Screw Driver. how does it work?
Hi.
As I'm planning on replacing rotors soon, I want to find all information prior to start the job.
I know that I can loosen the screw that is holding the rotor by using impact screw driver. My question is, how does it work? Do I just place the impact screw driver on the screw and hit it with hammer? Then, does the impact screw driver turn in counter-clockwise to loosen the screw? or I need to turn it counter-clockwise after hitting it with hammer? Sorry about dumb questions.

One thing you need to be sure of is the rotation of the driver when you hit it. Make sure it is loosening the screw and not tightening it. I know this might sound obvious but you'll be amazed how many people made this mistake.
