Damn, if that's the case then I think they only come in 19". Crap with 19's I'll have to use a rubber band as a tire. Hell i might as well not even invest in tires, i'll only blow them out in those damn potholes in the city!!

:wow: :wow: :wow: DAMN! Those look sweet. But even a small little pothole on the expressway and...stick a fork in them, they are done. Try driving those things in inner city Chicago (potholes capital) and you can say byebye to your nice investment.

Oh my goodness Ben!:wow: Sh!t, you only had those wheels for like a couple of weeks max. I'm sorry to see that man.

It must have been a hard hit to bend them that bad. Ouch, I feel the pain thinking about it.

You have to find out if it is repairable?.

edit, I guessed you called up some wheel specialist's to repair them.

P.S. You need my wheels for a week? Though I see you go over some bad potholes with your car....just playin

Those are the exact reasons why I dont want to go with 18's. Yea they look hot but its just not worth the headache. I'll be happy with my 17x7.5, if I ever find a set I like.

If you rims took that shot, what about your suspension kit!
The alignment must have been affected... Expensive pain in the head, sorry to hear about that. Why don't you get a new rim instead of getting it fixed?

OMG. I'm so sorry CarFreak. I knew those rims were soft... but Holy Crap.
I don't think I'll ever buy another wheel from atp.

I really don't blame it on the rims. I was driving a little too fast and not paying attention to the roads. The passengers in my car said I hit something really hard. No matter what rims I had on, I think the pothole I hit would've damaged any rim. Oh well .....no more driving to the city w/my car.

Sorry to hijack you thread

CarFreak,

You mean you didn't feel the car hit anything? Your passenger was the one who told you?

Wow, I would imagine it would've been quite loud and hard, but I guess the rims were soft enough to absorb the shock.

Kinda freaks me out, my 19s came today and going to get them mounted this weekend, stories like these give me the chills.

Good luck with the repairs. Maybe consider a forged rim next time.

Well I had a little to drink (i know that was dumb) and I wasn't really concentrating on potholes. I got these rims for cheap (used) and that's why I got them. When I do come up w/a lot of cash, I will definitely get forged wheels.
